I'm starting to realize the best things in life aren't planned. On Thursday night Din reached out with the idea of throwing a last-minute Friendsgiving with their Thanksgiving menu, and by Friday evening I somehow managed to scramble up enough new Oakland friends, a kitchen with proper cooking equipment and a stunning backyard to make it happen. Getting this meal together was a breeze made breezier by cooking with friends, and the food topped most holidays past (sorry Mom and Grandma). I was a bit too busy enjoying the experience to document the food properly, but you can see the menu below. The coolest part about the whole thing is that all of these recipes come from highly regarded restaurants in San Francisco, and the meals are delivered all prepped and ready to hit the stove/oven. Making a note to throw together more spontaneous, magical nights like this one. Thank you Din for such a wonderful experience!
